It's gorgeous.

Though I do agree with Doret -- it'd be hard to sell boys on it.Maya Ganesanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15981552119449526456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1349046498246767821.post-7869868245409431562009-01-10T18:44:00.000-08:002009-01-10T18:44:00.000-08:00You have a nomination waiting for you on your blog...You have a nomination waiting for you on your blog.Kali.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03865269086887935764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1349046498246767821.post-30283729469543934062009-01-10T18:20:00.000-08:002009-01-10T18:20:00.000-08:00I think I like the Australian cover better... less...I think I like the Australian cover better... less intimidating :)

http://lookatthatbook.blogspot.comLisaMayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16327089752434421382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1349046498246767821.post-24743892634903827742009-01-10T06:43:00.000-08:002009-01-10T06:43:00.000-08:00Great review! We've just reviewed it on Chicklish t...Great review!

We've just reviewed it on Chicklish too. In the UK, both versions have been released: Two Pearls of Wisdom is in the adult section of bookshops, and Eon Rise of the Dragoneye (as it's called here) is in the Young Adult section. I think it's just a matter of targeting different markets.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1349046498246767821.post-10145855308804924812009-01-09T21:27:00.000-08:002009-01-09T21:27:00.000-08:00I haven't read this book yet. But I did finish the series).

Although I didn't wait to read it because of the cover, I wasn't expecting much from it. It's so...fake looking or something, and made me think it would be some annoying action-y book of fire and no character development. The Aussie cover looks a lot more readable.Ink Magehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18160286452969063064noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1349046498246767821.post-24234479629557824212009-01-08T20:37:00.000-08:002009-01-08T20:37:00.000-08:00This sounds very good. I would have a difficult time selling boys on the Australian cover and I doubt many would give it a second glance on a table.Dorethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08676911030014718403noreply@blogger.com
